PERPETUAL TROPHIES
The perpetual trophies, operate under varying conditions, with a number of single show and accumulative score trophies as well as performance trophies. All members are eligible to compete for these awards under the conditions as specified in each instance. Each award has been set out in more detail below.
All awards are donated by various previous and current club members and if you would like to donate a trophy or award whether an annual perpetual or either of the RRCQ shows' perpetual, do not hesitate to contact the Secretary or a Committee member or put forward the matter yourself at a General Meeting.

FOXRIDGE TROPHY
SHOW ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD
The Foxridge Trophy or Show Encouragement Award was donated by Lisa and Ray (Fred) Smith for completion throughout the year at Championship All Breeds Shows.
Awarded to the dog attaining the best results over a maximum of 12 All-Breed shows. Eligibility
THE PRESIDENT'S CUP
SHOW ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD - OPPOSITE SEX
The Presidents cup was donated by Cyndy Burton in 2002 for opposite sex to the Foxridge Trophy.
Awarded to the dog attaining the best results over a minimum of 12 All-Breed shows - opposite sex to Foxridge Trophy.
RONGANRIDGE SHIELD
BRISBANE ROYAL BEST OF BREED AWARD
The Ronganridge Shield is presented to the Best of breed at the Brisbane Royal each year. The original trophy for Best of breed at the Brisbane Royal was donated by the clubs founding president, Vince Allen and was contested from 1978 to 1988.
The current trophy was donated by Matenga Kennels. The trophy will be presented in the ring by the judge where agreed to by the host association.
ETOSHA NIKASI MEMORIAL
BEST OF BREED TOOWOOMBA ROYAL AWARD
The Etosha Nikazi Memorial Trophy is presented to the Best of Breed at the Toowoomba Royal each year.
The original trophy for the best of Breed at the Toowoomba Royal was also donated by the club's founding president, Vince Allen. The current trophy was donated by Ch. Chilolo Boomerang in memory of his grandsire ”Broozer” who won Best of Breed at the Toowoomba Royal Show from 1981 to 1988.
HOUND CLUB OF QUEENSLAND TROPHY
HOUND CLUB OF QLD BEST OF BREED AWARD
The Hound Club of Qld trophy is presented to the winner of Best of Breed at the Hound Club of Qld Champion Show each year.
The trophy was donated by David Watson.
The trophy will be presented in the ring by the judge where agreed by the host association. Where the winner is a non-member, the trophy will be recovered ringside and retained by the RRCQ.
KARNIMIRIE CUP
ESK SHIRE AGRICULTURAL SHOWS AWARD
The Karnimirie Cup was donated by Sharyn Hurley (Nee Couchman) for completion at Esk Shires three agricultural shows- Esk, Lowood and Toogoolawah.
The trophy is presented to the dog gaining the highest aggregate points, with points awarded as per the Show Encouragement Award (Foxridge Trophy.)
AGILITY ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD
The Agility Encouragement award was donated by Bonnie Weeks for competition throughout the year at agility trials.
